Introduction
At Tasdida we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data we handle when you use the app, how we use it, and your rights. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
Data We Handle
The app is designed to be as data-light as possible. Most features — following matches, live scores, and news — require no sign-in or account.
1. Account (optional):
Sign-in is optional and only required for features like predictions, favorites, your profile, and premium. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only a unique identifier from the provider. We do not collect your email or real name, including Apple's private-relay email. We auto-generate a username; you may optionally add a display name and avatar.
2. Advertising:
The app shows ads via Google AdMob. To show personalized ads, we ask your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, and via Google's UMP consent form for users in the European Economic Area. If you consent, device identifiers (such as the IDFA) may be used to personalize ads. If you don't consent, you'll see non-personalized ads, and your use of the app is unaffected.
3. Purchases:
Purchases are handled by Apple via StoreKit. We never see your card or payment data — Apple handles it entirely. We retain only the transaction identifier and subscription status.
4. Usage data on our servers:
When signed in, we store your preferences such as favorites, predictions, and notification settings. We do not permanently store your IP address; it is used only ephemerally for abuse protection. For analytics we use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to understand which screens are viewed and which features are used, so we can improve the app. This analytics data is anonymous, is not linked to your identity, and contains no personal information such as your name or email.
5. Notifications:
If enabled, we store your device's notification token to send match alerts. You can disable them in your device settings anytime.
6. Memory photos:
When you save a match "Memory" image, we request add-only photo-library permission. We do not read your photo library — we only add the image you created.
Third Parties
Your identifying data reaches only Apple, for sign-in and purchases, and Google, for sign-in and AdMob ad signals. Anonymous, non-identifying usage analytics are processed by PostHog in the European Union. No personal data reaches any other party, and no user data is ever sent to our football-data provider (we only receive match information from it).
Your Rights
- Access and export your data: you may request a copy of your data by emailing support@tasdida.app.
- Delete your account: you can delete your account in-app. The account is immediately and irreversibly disabled and de-identified, and all your personal data is permanently erased within 30 days via an automated purge. Thereafter, only an anonymous, non-identifying counter remains.
- Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — under the GDPR (European Economic Area), the CCPA (California), and the PDPL (Saudi Arabia) — including access, rectification, erasure, objection, and portability. To exercise them, email support@tasdida.app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material updates, we may show you an in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
